Digital Millennium Copyright Act Policy
Welcome to (the ‘Site’). We value the rights of intellectual property just as we expect others to value ours. Under the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA), a copyright owner or their representative can send a takedown notice to us through our DMCA Agent listed below. Being an internet service provider, we can claim immunity from infringement claims under the “safe harbor” provisions of the DMCA. To submit a legitimate infringement claim to us, you need to provide the following details:
Notice of Infringement – Claim
- A signature from the copyright owner or their authorized agent.
- Identification of the copyrighted work alleged to be infringed.
- Identification of the infringing material to be removed and details to help locate it.
- Contact information of the complaining party.
- A statement confirming that the use of the material is not authorized by the copyright owner.
- A statement verifying the accuracy of the information provided.
Section 512(f) of Title 17 USC imposes penalties against individuals who knowingly provide false information in an infringement notification.
Submit all takedown notices through our Contact page, preferably via email.
It’s important to note that we may share the identity and details of any copyright infringement claim with the alleged infringer.
Counter Notification – Restoration of Material
If you have received a takedown notice due to a copyright claim, you can send a counter notification to request the restoration of the material. This notification must include:
- Your signature.
- Description of the material taken down and its original location.
- A statement declaring that removal was a mistake.
- Your contact details and consent to jurisdiction for legal matters.
Send your counter notice through our Contact page, preferably via email.
Repeat Infringer Policy
We have a strict policy regarding repeat copyright infringers in compliance with the DMCA. We keep track of DMCA notices and take action against repeat offenders by terminating their accounts.
Modifications
We reserve the right to update our DMCA policy at any time. We recommend checking back regularly for any changes.
